Developing analog high definition signals

The latest in analog HD through coaxial cable is AHD and TVI. These technologies allow contractors and resellers to deploy one megapixel and two megapixel solutions at extremely low cost. However, we must avoid the race to the bottom by continuously lowering the prices and sacrificing quality in order to achieve that.

It is up to the integrator to research the platform which will be deployed carefully and with an eye on the future.

Just as before, there is no substitute for a good digital system such as SDI technology over coax or UTP. There are also fiber options for digital signals such as IP and cereal digital interface (SDI) which allow the deployment team the flexibility to extend the reach indefinitely.

Some additional resources on all of these advanced technologies can be found from CORTEX CCTV and MAX.
